The Philosophical Journal
The Philosophical Journal is a scientific journal open to a plurality of philosophical views. For those seriously interested in philosophy in its most original sense - namely, as a search for wisdom, truth, goodness, beauty and the meaning of life – it offers valuable studies, translations, information, reviews and reports. The journal is published 6 times a year by the Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences🔗.
The graphic design was created at the end of 2006 by Honza Dobeš, Filip Blažek collaborated on the cover. The client asked us to propose a graphic design solution for the inner pages that could be continued by their in-house graphic designer. As we were limited by budget, we used the MS Vista fonts in combination with František Štorm’s Andulka🔗, which is used for most of the articles.
