A book Mlčení (The Silence) features interviews with paedophiles and their loved ones and seeks answers to these questions. Its author, Lukáš Houdek, was himself abused by a paedophile at an early age.
The book was illustrated by Toy_Box🔗, who, as she writes in the afterword, has personal experience with childhood abuse.
